I am hyper-mobile and she has taken the time to find modifications that work for my body and help me to tailor my practice to work best for me. I like when her classes take on a form beyond a typical Vinyasa structure, and focus on what is best for our bodies. Her lessons allow me to enjoy the challenge of a power flow class, without putting too much strain on my body. Kelly has a natural sense of creativity in her teachings, making her classes feel unique in a sea of monotony. I leave class feeling empowered and energized. She shared that this was her first time teaching in this time slot and as a result, ran into a couple technical issues (e.g., not able to play music), but it would not have been noticeable if she didn’t mention it! Overall a very thoughtful and intentionally built class. For me personally, I prefer a few more props than we were directed to use, but I think the class was fairly accessible for all!

The workout was definitely challenging, but it was still very doable as a beginner. I got a great sweat in and left feeling accomplished. I’ll definitely be taking another class with Kelsi and would highly recommend her to anyone, especially if it’s your first time!

The class was heated to about 90. I found it very well paced and a great balance of strength, mobility, and stretch. The instructors cues were specific and helpful. This was also a very sensory experience - we got the optional of essential oils at beginning and end, a lower back cream, eye masks for savasana, and a few hands on assists. I look forward to returning!

They use soft gel with the papers to remove your hair. I do have a little hair left behind but that might be because it was my first time and there was quite a bit of hair down there.
