    Ryan is super funny and motivating! Low key have a crush on him BUT I digress— the workout is not for the faint of heart but it was super fun because of the variety of movements, which can be very fast paced. The amazing part is you can definitely customize it to your level of fitness from beginner to advanced. The treadmill portions are very different from any class/workout regimen I’ve done before. The ambiance also motivates you to give it your all; funky neon lights, dark, loud ass music, it’s a whole ass party. Ryan was great at encouraging and pushing you out of your comfort zone but not singling out or shaming for going at your own pace. 100% would recommend if you want an intense workout! The facilities are SO SO nice and staff are really friendly too, an incredible bonus.

    New favorite class alert! I wouldn’t say it’s “beginner friendly” as defined by the difficulty level of the class (it was HARD AF, and I LOVED it), but the staff was INCREDIBLY welcoming and helpful in getting set up and starting off right. I loved the format, which involves three 12-minute rotations with three exercises each. What I loved most is that in addition to showing how to do each move correctly in the beginning, the moves are listed in the front of class so you know what you’re getting into and can pace yourself accordingly throughout each rotation. HIGHLY recommend. Will be coming back as often as possible!

    Y7 instructors are so inconsistent. One of the core features of the class is to set an intention and close the class out with a dose of motivation via inspirational quote. Courtney always chooses unique intentions and quotes for each of her classes. She has great flows and guidance. Love her so much! I hate how Y7 still charges for mats. The purpose of going to yoga is to relax but it’s hard when you have to carry a lot of equipment over or need to pay money to secure materials for class. Humming Puppy provides ALL equipment that is how it should be. Stop nickle and diming everyone.

    Honestly this is my favorite class at Bodyrok! It’s the only megaformer class I can find in NYC to incorporate the jump board, which I really takes the workout up a notch. My only gripe with BodyRok in general is that there aren’t as many instructions on form, but Kristen was an exception. Having had rotator cuff surgery and tears in both shoulders, I really appreciated the options offered to modify each position to what works best for my body. Great class!

    Great class! Everyone was super nice and Ryan was excellent. Got an amazing workout. Especially appreciative of the studio’s requirement to wear masks in common spaces (other than while actually cycling). Big, open, spacious studio with lots of room to store items, get changed, etc.
