    Tai chi and Qi Gong for Meditation In the Park

    I took a tai chi class with Joycelyn and it was a really enjoyable and grounding experience. Joycelyn was very kind, welcoming, and patient (especially helpful for someone like me who was brand new to the practice). She took time to explain the first movement in detail, shared a bit of the history and philosophy behind tai chi, and emphasized that it’s a lifelong practice, not something you master overnight. Come with a humble mindset—you will do it wrong at first, and that’s totally okay. Joycelyn creates a supportive space where you can learn at your own pace without judgment. If you’re in the area and curious about tai chi or just looking for a slower, more intentional way to move your body, I definitely recommend giving this class a try!
