    The workout itself was great, but I did not enjoy the environment without an AC in Houston summer. Also, prepare to run outside under the sun. I would have prepared for sunscreen to apply beforehand if I had known that I would need to run outside.

    I recently had my first Pilates class ever at Total Core, and I loved it! The class was the perfect balance of challenging but totally doable for a beginner like me. It had a great mix of strengthening and stretching exercises, and the pacing felt just right—intense enough without being too much. I also appreciated how the class focused on both movement and breathing. Cheryl, the instructor, was awesome! She was super warm and welcoming, and her positive energy kept me motivated the whole time. As a newbie, I really liked how clearly she explained everything and gave tips to make sure our form was on point. Plus, she took the time to check in with each of us and offered modifications. The other attendees were friendly and encouraging as well. The studio had such a calming vibe. It was spacious enough to move around comfortably. I’m already excited for my next class!
