We started with basic footwork and then spent the majority of the time practicing with different partners. The only downside was that the lessons are sequential so you have to start at lesson 1 or you’ll be behind (and the class sign up didn’t specify)

He gave us counts for every movement which made everything easier and went over things step by step until the class gets it. 10/10 will recommend especially if you’re a first timer like me. Also the receptionist and vibes were great, it felt very welcoming at this studio.❤️‼️

The first half was spent learning steps without music, then with music, and towards the end of the class, we partnered up to learn the steps together. I definitely recommend this studio for beginners.

I like the flow we did as she asked everyone in the class if there was something we may want to focus. A good balance of feeling restored, relaxed, and energized in one class. The class was very full so became chaotic that it started bit late and people had their bags and coats on the floor with not enough weights or bike for people who were late — be on time!

I really loved that he started us out with basic moves to get the feeling of the dance and then worked up to a short routine that allowed individual expression.
