Voir tous les avisTenley is a bright light. I am on my last day of a class pass trial and have been meaning to get to this studio for a class. This morning it was raining and cold and I had half a mind to stay in bed, but something told me to go and I am so grateful I did! This studio is in my neighborhood and instantly felt cozy and welcoming. It reminded me a lot of the neighborhood Brooklyn studios I used to go to in my NYC days- pretty space, a local feel, and most importantly a super genuine, warm teacher and co owners. The class itself was challenging and exciting- the element of music and keeping up with the beat added so much for me. This is a little fam I would very much love to hang with again. They have fun events and activities outside of class, and they seem to really foster a sense of community which I appreciate. I love arriving somewhere new and instantly feeling safe and welcome. This practice is such a great way to honor yourself with self care and love, and I felt very empowered after. Hands down would recommend, and by far my favorite Pilates class I’ve been to! (:

The instructor did a great job of explaining different options and modifications, as well as showing them. Great for beginners or anyone who wants to take a slower pace, plenty of variety of poses. Class ends with shavasana and Jennifer provides helpful adjustments if you want them. Left feeling relaxed and refreshed. Will be back for another soon!

I love pound, it’s such a great cardio workout that has you going so so many squats and lunges without thinking about it too much (you feel it later) also the fact that you get to hit things as hard as you like without going to jail is a nice bonus… lol
