Not only is Meghan super pretty and super fit but she’s warm, uplifting & encouraging. All the staff were friendly. As a first timer I was placed in the back-middle which was perfect. Group stats on the display board made it feel more like a team effort which was cool. Locker, shoes, towel are provided.

Rachel was a ball of energy and sunshine! This was one of the sweatiest classes I’ve attended at NXPT (and that’s saying a lot considering their circuit classes and cycling are hard core!). We did not do much yoga. If you’re looking for a slower paced stretch, this isn’t the right class. But if you’re looking for a great heated workout with weights, this is it!

Zoé lead the class really well, hopping in to do movements with the different groups and also maintaining the enthusiasm in the room! I got confused at one point sure they class and she popped over and clarified the instructions for me. Elana(?) at the front desk was also really sweet upon entering and was happy to give me the low down on the gym. The class went by so quickly and I enjoyed that we didn’t do any exercise for too long.

    HIIT

Simple circuits of mostly lifting exercises with some cardio at the end. A good workout (I’m sore!) and I like that there are towels available (even cold ones!). Warning: the directions say to go downstairs to the basement but the class was actually upstairs. I almost left until I ran into some people and asked them where they came from so luckily they pointed me upstairs!

Quick ab session that I probably wouldn’t have done on my own: bicycle crunches, plank jacks, reverse crunches, flutter kicks, push ups, plank up/down etc. About a dozen attendees and no weird vibes. Easy parking in the lot and easy check in process.

    Edge Cycle

I really liked this class after having not taken one at Edge for awhile, the very first one that I took I actually think was not my favorite experience because I couldn’t hear the instructor but AJ in particular did an exceptional job of adjusting the volume and making sure that all the instruction was given clearly. I’m an instructor myself and I feel as if the class he taught was very similar to what I would program so maybe I am biased but I had a super awesome time. Happy Turkey Day and when I am in town I will definitely be back!

Miriam is a very sweet, high energy instructor. Be warned this class has a TON of choreo. If you don’t feel confident modifying for yourself I would not recommend it. I do so it worked for me. It’s high energy and you will burn a lot of calories. The staff is incredibly welcoming and friendly so definitely a 5 star experience.
