I was hoping to get more clarity on the towels offered by the studio, I called before I arrived and they informed me that I should take my own mat, however, requirement was to use a towel instead and as I started with the mat it was so slippery and I couldn’t do the postures until I went out of the class and rented a towel.

I have done yoga before, but it was my first time experiencing Iyengar and I would say this class can be considered beginner friendly all the way up to advanced, according to how one approaches the practice. We had mixed levels in our group and it still felt a personalized experience thanks to the individual attention provided by Aparjita.
