The place is the very opposite of new, fashionable places which call themself “pilates” because of making people do mindless glute-targeting repetitions on a reformer. There were two ladies in the class with no previous barre experience: she was very supportive and welcoming towards them and made sure that they can follow. Still, I’d advice newbies to google ballet positions a bit and try some moves at home before joining the studio, for an easier start!
