I would advise letting your instructor know if it’s your first time, because once the class starts, there is no brief intro or rundown and everyone is go-go-go! There are two groups: the treadmill and the floor exercise groups, and both groups switch off every 5 minutes. The instructor did a brief demonstration of the exercises for the floor group, and she also talked through the speed and incline options for the treadmill group. I especially loved the sprints on the treadmill. There were some floor exercises that I had never done before, but thankfully there were some seasoned ladies in the class that I could watch because the demonstrations happen once at each start of a new floor set (which is when everyone is switching and the room is a bit chaotic). I think the class would have been perfect if there was more attention to individual form checks and modifications, but I understand that there’s very little time between groups because it’s such a fast paced class. Overall, great class and friendly instructor!

I appreciated the quick walkthrough before each rounds but I do wish someone would be there (to teach me how to wrap hands, for example) during the 20min before class as they requested for first timers. No one came until 5min before class so idk why they requested that.

Everyone was very welcoming and simply made it easy to follow along. Whenever I was performing the exercise incorrectly, Vanessa gave light reminders on the proper technique without making me feel like I did not belong there. I may make this a weekly routine once I figure out what class most interests me. I forgot to mention how much I enjoyed allowing Vanessa to make me work out harder than I have ever done so. Overall, it was a nice change of pace for me.
