This class is challenging, but doable. Kate does a great job keeping it fun by mixing up the exercises and has good music. Overall recommend, this is a great workout!

Cutting his Monday class was a big mistake. If the studio keeps making choices like this, they’re risking their reputation. Dennis is a star, and they should be doing everything they can to support him. Bring back the Monday class!

She explained everything so well I could follow along with the other students that are all coming since a few months, and some over a year. It’s amazing to watch them too to help follow along (and fantasize about the progress I’ll eventually make). Truly enjoyed myself.

Her instruction to positions were easy to follow and when I wasn’t coordinating my movements well she helped me to coordinate better and described ways to which I could connect better. I appreciated the smaller class size. She also was able to help modify our moves to fit our specific needs. I left class feeling stronger, more connected to my body, confident, and seen. Everyone at the studio was very nice and it had a good environment that facilitated belonging, comfort, and confidence.

The challenge is getting around the hoop and remembering the correct sequence and correct side. The hoops are of different sizes and heights so I think it’s ok to have couple more people than hoops because everyone moves around and try different hoops.

Felt great because I got a REAL workout, was challenged, combos were explained clearly, corrections were told in a way that helps us learn, etc. This is the type of class where just when you think you can’t do anymore, you find it in yourself to keep going, and then you feel great afterwards.

I’m a 49 year old that hasn’t done hip hop dancing since 1994 and five minutes in I felt like I was with a group of friends I’d known for years. Mandy the owner responded to an email I’d sent the night before asking if I needed to bring or know anything in advance, she then met me at the studio before class and was a joy to talk to. Makeia the instructor was vibrant, full of energy and quick to complement and put a smile on my face and enthusiastically invite me back before we’d even started which made me feel like part of the crew. The other dancers in the class were great and just made me feel like I’d always been a part of the class. In some ways today could have been me “stepping out of my comfort zone” as I’m a middle aged finance bro who spends half his time on a golf course, but frankly, with this crew, it’s impossible to feel out of your comfort zone because they treated me like one of their own from the second I walked in the door and were like “Joe! We’ll see you next week and you have to be in the Christmas show!” as I was leaving. This isn’t a dance class it’s a family and you’re welcome to join it! I’d give them a 10 out 5 if I could!! Amazing experience. Exposure to businesses and communities like this is what ClassPass is for.

Voir tous les avisThis was a fantastic class!! Anastasia is a gem 💎 I feel like it’s hard to find an adult ballet class where the instructor gives you corrections and advice. This is it!! Anastasia really wants to see you improve. She gives the class her undivided attention, always monitoring and adjusting you. Her combinations are a good intermediate level and she will go through them twice before starting the music. She doesn’t waste time— she practically says the whole combination in one breath, I’m amazed at her lung capacity, tbh hahaha. The class did start 10 minutes late, but that’s because she wanted to continue working with her earlier class for an extra 10 minutes, which I respect. Our class went over by 20 minutes at the end, so she spent an extra 10 minutes with us, too. She also spent time teaching students after class ended, she really cares. Thank you!

I’m new-ish to dance, and glad to find a welcoming beginner-friendly studio (they have many advanced classes too!). I also love their new rule that people can film themselves dancing only in the last few minutes of class, which gives others the option to leave if they don’t feel comfortable being in someone’s video.
