see all reviewsThe studio is easy to get to (by bike or Metro) and is clean. The hallways with the lockers are a bit narrow but fine. There are two bathrooms and two showers (all unisex). The class itself was fantastic and a great workout. I must have burned at least 600 calories at the end. People are friendly and have a good vibe. You can do your own thing on the treadmill and then condition on the mat for the second half. When you "partner up" on the floor you are just switching equipment sides, so no awkward touching like in other studios with group/team workouts. Jamel is great. He has a very fun and encouraging tone. I would repeat this class again! It's also a more cost effective option compared to BARRY'S HIIT and Run class.

see all reviewsI'm just getting back to strength training after several years off due to multiple injuries and have been struggling to find a group class that can provide adequate modifications as I relearn movements with my new range of motion. BodyMass blew every other gym I've tried through CP out of the water. Boris was able to explain each superset and then actually give personalized attention while we worked at our own pace. I watched him regularly check in, provide tailored modifications, and adjust weights as needed for each of us during every set. The workout felt very approachable for a beginner but I'm still feeling it three days later- so I know it was effective. I also really liked that this class focuses on strength only (no cardio) and that they offer upper/lower body specific classes. This was my first visit but I'll be back!

When the time came where we did each exercise she demonstrated them clearly and if I had a question she came over to me to help me with my form and just stand by me to ensure that I could do it and motivate me. She also checked on other people as well. Everyone there seemed encouraging! It was very tough and fast paced- definitely a challenge for someone who is not very active, but overall it was a great experience. I would recommend this instructor, facility, and hope to come back again for either that class or to try a different one!
