At first I was worried the samples were what we needed to use for the showers but I was pleasantly surprised. The smoothies were a great after workout snack, I’m going to have to check next time I go if they have an almond milk alternative. The class I took was focused on upper body lifts and cardio. The running portion was my favorite part. I want to take another class that isn’t upper body focused but core focused. Nazinga was great! Would love to take another one of her classes!

I also appreciated that she had the nerve to turn away a student who was like 10 minutes late. DC tends to accommodate these late lulu girls busting in the class with their Stanleys clanking. It’s disrespectful to the teacher and the other students to allow this. Glad to know basic decorum is observed here.

I was greeted with kindness, warmth, and welcoming energy from the moment I walked up to the door, which was opened for me, I thought that was also very nice! If you are thinking of going here, you totally should! If you’ve never done a cycling class before expect it to be challenging, but also expect lots of support, motivation, and encouragement. David was a great instructor and led such a fun a class! I was blown away by how wonderful the energy was. Thank you all for a great first time, I hope to be back soon.

see all reviewsI went to the LIFT class. This was a very challenging class for someone who hasn’t lifted weights in a while. But I was impressed with the staff and their support. They helped me decrease or increase weights to maximize my workout without injury. They also helped me modify a couple of the exercises. It was hard but doable and I feel great today, sore but stronger :). I will definitely go back and hope to make this part of my weekly exercise rotation.
