He has a keen ability to bring the class his students back to the breath, to drop inside, and to be present. His sequences are also challenging so you get a good physical workout along with the mental workout, and he always flows to a great playlist which makes the fly by like a dance. I always leave refreshed and ready to take on the world after Donny's class!

Voir tous les avisI'm rating the experience as five stars because I'm new to the studio, love what they are doing and want to support it. This class however, for me, was probably closer to a three. I enjoyed the Instructor's devotion and attention to detail, however, while the sequencing was creative and mostly enjoyable, there are two important things that I would change to be able to enjoy the class. The pacing for that flow was simply too rapid during the "breath to movement" part. I've had an ashtanga practice and taught power yoga in the past, I understand wanting to build fire, but it really was just absolutely too fast to responsibly land in this specific series of moves. Most specifically, the transition into twisted crescent, went way too fast a few times. I felt the effects in my rib cage and QL later (in an asymmetrical strange sort of way, and not a good workout sore sort of way). Thankfully, I'm mostly recovered today, but I would really encourage the instructor to rethink that part of the sequencing to give a full breath to move in and out of that pose, and also to not go so rapid fire in the fastest part of breath to movement. I realize this is personal preference and I could choose not to take the class again if it's working well for everyone else, but also, I think sometimes people don't realize what isn't working because they assume it's them that has the issue when they can't keep up and fully get into a posture.

Voir tous les avisThis gym is great, they have pretty much any equipment you can ask for, full locker rooms with showers and towels provided, and an infrared sauna. It's usually not too busy (though I go in the afternoon, not sure what it looks like at 5:30 on a weekday), the staff and Bryan the manager are super friendly and inviting. Also, they are very relaxed with the "1-hour window" of open gym, so you don't need to feel rushed. Great experience.

I really enjoyed the flow of class, i felt very prepared for the peak pose and challenged in a different way that other flows at studios in the area. I was unsure from the description, but this is not a heated studio.

I will definitely be coming back for more of her classes! A note for Trilogy management - I wish the teachers were more empowered to stick to the policy for late students and not let them in once class has started. A few people came in late to this class and the teacher had to stop cueing to direct them where to set up. I don’t mean that to be reflective of Gabrielle at all, this has happened in plenty of classes at this studio and it’s always incredibly disruptive. It would be nice if the teachers felt supported to turn away late students for the sake of those who did make it to class on time

There was so much variety of movement and I felt like every part of my body got a good workout, unlike other classes I’ve taken where the focus is very heavily on lower body. Samara was upbeat, friendly, and even remembered everyone’s names to commend us individually throughout class. This was my first class at this studio but I will definitely be coming back for Samara’s classes!!

Voir tous les avisAmber was a real treat, made sure to introduce herself to everyone that was new, ask about their practices, injuries, what they wanted, etc. This was a mixed class in terms of skill, so it moved a little slower and less strenuous than I usually go for. However, I think that’s laid out in the description and hand up, I'm not a big reader and definitely don't know what most of the yoga terms mean. You would think I would learn them, but you'd be wrong. Anyway, that's neither here nor there. The studio was small but comfortable, the class was cool, and Amber was a great instructor.

My only complaint is that the teacher that taught the following class came in immediately, abruptly, loudly and made a lot of noise dropping her mat onto the floor. She was very inconsiderate of the students remaining in the room in savasana. Hopefully this feedback makes its way back to her so that she can be more conscientious of how her energy affects students who come to Hatch.

As someone who is pretty familiar with yoga, I was able to enjoy this experience even though I was unfamiliar with this type- I’m not sure I would recommend this for a complete beginner to yoga, however. Great experience, and I really love that it’s positioned right in the middle of the week to help increase your mindfulness and give you a reprieve from the stress of the workweek week.

Voir tous les avisThe best yin yoga class I’ve been to, I just loved it! Tamara integrates breathing with deep, slow yoga moves that really stretched and restored my muscles. She was so welcoming and kind, was very clear in guiding us, and even finished the class with a soothing 10-15 sound bath during shavasana. The class was candle light-style, which created a peaceful vibe. I was feeling so relaxed and zen afterwards. RESET is such a cool gym too, with an open and modern style. Maggie who manages the gym was there and was incredibly nice, making me feel right at home. And there’s lots of free parking in their parking lot. I can’t wait to go back!

I have taken the Metta Light Magic class 2x so far and I feel like it is an amazing experience for people who have already been on the healing path and want to dive deeper (others too of course). Nowadays it’s really hard to find leaders/healers/lightworkers that provide profound, accessible experiences in California. Sure, we can find yoga classes, guided meditation, etc. but based on my experience those classes are always surface-level. The way Victor incorporates different practices, tools, and spiritual knowledge is so expansive and potent! I'm so grateful for coming across Victor and the Metta Space!
