Voir tous les avisHad a killer full body workout. I arrived 20 min early to check in, it was the first time taking the class. Got a chance to meet some of the staff, everyone was great, really down to earth. Alex was superb, motivational, personable, and helpful. He helped me correct my form when needed. We ran 1 minute circuits which I soon realized were usually 45 sec but accidentally signed up for the wrong day. To my advantage, it gave me a few more secs during the circuits to focus on form, so I'm not mad about it. Would return, great gym, great energy, felt challenged.

I appreciate how she never fails to give breathing cues with every movement - the most basic pillar of yoga that most teachers nowadays forget. Treadmill can go super fast but always go on your own pace. I definitely felt the burn, in the best way possible. I appreciate Alex and the team for being so kind throughout the process. I will definitely be back and recommend taking this class!

He also seemed to know the name of everyone in class, and we often would hear him cheering us on individually. The class was challenging, yet doable, and the vibe was great!

With that said, if you’re looking to mix up your workout, and are generally really active, it’s worth trying his class to really challenge yourself. Worth every credit.

Voir tous les avisHow often do you get a chance to be taught by one of the best to ever do it? Taking a class with Austin is like taking acting classes taught by Cillian Murphy. Singing classes by Adele. Or skating lessons by Tony Hawk. When you're in a class with Austin - he lifts and propels you in a way like no other. This Peter Pan of Power had me so dialed in that I didn't even realize that I had completed the Wednesday workout that I call the Devil's Delight. Austin is the best in California if not the nation and I feel sincerely lucky to have an opportunity to have him an instructor.

The instructor was good and motivated to work harder but does not help with posture or corrects you. I’ve taken other classes and they do take time to go over and help you with posture and all that good stuff. I will go back but once I have all my proper training 🙂 overall I had a great time!

Voir tous les avisGreat workout, but I can understand why there's a handful of people who dislike it amongst the many overwhelmingly positive reviews. If I weren't already familiar with certain exercises and already doing some of these at home from time to time (albeit without the weights), I would have felt lost even though everything was explained and demonstrated well. I would say this is not for absolute beginners. I don't consider myself an expert by any means either, so as long as you're already stretching regularly and otherwise exercising in some way, I think you can push through. I see some people say no pointers are given, but Sharon provided plenty of pointers to various people throughout the class. The intensity lasted the stated 50 minutes and was followed by a mini-yoga session (10 min). I enjoyed it all and definitely want to return. If I don't, it'll simply be because it's a little far for me. The drive felt like commuting to and from work.

The last time I only heard her say hello on the computer to two people but there are so many people in person… and since she’s catering to the people from home she doesn’t walk around the room to give any adjustments. I arrived 20 minutes earlier and had a thorough walk through from Piper on expectations. She also kept an eye on me as a fist timer to assure I was staying on course and received the help I needed. Honestly loved every bit of it. I was able to improvise the movements my body wasn't yet ready for and received the motivation I needed. I will be returning.

Going into it, I didn’t know what to expect bc I’m not a Pilates type of person but I was blown away with all the different moves that target different muscle groups that we don’t use in day to day or general HIIT workouts . Lately, almost half the stations involve jumping which I understand from a HIIT/cardio perspective, but my ankles and knees have taken a toll, while my upper body has been left less challenged. would love to see a better mix of upper body strength training and lower body endurance that is friendlier on the knees. but overall, love the camp!
