Voir tous les avisMy appointment started with a brief consult to ask what I wanted and which products I like. We did a wash, deep conditioning, and then blow dry with a round brush and pin curls. I sipped a cup of chamomile tea while pinning my hair. So worth it to be pampered for an hour or so.

Voir tous les avisOh my gosh. I went to Vanessa on a whim because I was in dire need of a refresh. I can tell you as a picky gal- she nailed my blonde highlights and my hair cut. Not everyone can highlight and tone blondes correctly to the skin tone of the client, but she sure can. I gave her just generals of what I wanted and she somehow made it happen with just vague verbal prompting. She can also do the Rachel from Friends/Jennifer Aniston cut! But as a person, she was super kind and outgoing in just the right ways. I loved talking with her and loved my hair. A true salon win-win. (She also didn’t ask for a review/rating/anything of the sort. I’m always wary of the reviews on here because of that- so FYI, all of the reviews on here are legit customer experiences.)

She is located inside MIX Salón and Spa, and booking directly with her is super flexible and easy — she really makes the whole process stress-free. Diana is friendly, easy-going, and great to work with. My hair looked gorgeous after the blow dry! After washing at home it felt a bit thicker than expected, so I’ll make sure to give clearer instructions next time —but that’s on me, not her. The studio itself has a lovely vibe with a cool salon and bar atmosphere and a cozy, semi-private booth that makes you feel right at home. Overall a solid experience and I would definitely go back and recommend her

Voir tous les avisThe service was fine. Don’t expect a scalp/head spa experience. It was basically just a hair washing service with exfoliation. It was ok, studio was small which I didn’t mind, but I wish she would have dimmed the lights or gave me an eye mask or something because it was very bright (and not really the most relaxing). The reason I took off a star was because I was hesitant on the blow dry aspect and requested low heat/cool air, but she refused and applied medium heat, to which she explained her technique. Hair felt fine afterwards, but I wish she would have just respected my request to not use heat on my hair. A cool blow dry would have been fine. Overall, OK.
