Did not love the flashing lights during class in the background but that’s just my preference. Playlist was unique and transitioned between hip hop, 90s rock, 2000s hits, a little EDM. His classes are always almost completely full, if not 100% full, which shows I’m not the only one who feels this way! He is energetic and uplifting while being outwardly supportive of both brand new and experienced riders — you can tell how much he loves to teach spin. He even came off the podium during class today to ride next to us during the “song for yourself” portion which I’ve never had any instructor do anywhere else in my 4 years of taking spin classes. I cannot wait to take my next class with him.

The class was intense but as a beginner, you definitely can go at your own pace. The crew here are also extremely friendly and helpful and they’ll even help you get set up on the bike before class starts. Such a fun experience!

The music was on point, he guided us perfectly through the workout and he didn’t scream into the microphone the whole time like a lot of cycle instructors do. The one thing that is a serious safety hazard is that a lot of new people do their boxers sit-ups far outside of their circle, and they run the risk of getting hurt by the people around them. It also risks hurting those of us who are inside the circle. There should be an announcement made in the beginning of class that this is where you should be seated for these. I almost hurt someone just because she was almost a full foot above her designated space. I hope this is fixed soon because this has been pretty consistent over the last few months but wasn’t a problem before.
