Lotus House CoreCode Hot Mat Pilates

This class is always perfect for a Monday - breathwork > cardio! Always a good sweat and solid challenge. There are many heated mat pilates classes popping up in Omaha although this one feels the most intentional and rooted in Pilates principles. Thank you Lotus / Katie! 🫶🏼

I love this class. Such a good challenge & the instructor is really great about reminders on good form/technique. And a good playlist certainly doesn’t hurt!!!

    Yin Chakra Balance

Amazing session. Felt incredibly relaxing. Great instruction. Afterwards I noticed everyone just putting everything back on the shelf. I asked about it, and found it strange that shared items such as mats/pillows/blankets are only washed once a week. I understand that washing everything between each person would be very taxing labor wise and potentially degrade fabrics more quickly— but I would suggest having users at least wiping down what they can, maybe using some kind of unscented fabric cleansing spray and letting used things dry out, rotating used items to the bottom or back instead of putting them back on top/in front, maybe getting spare covers that can at least be replaced daily if not between each user? At least for the eye masks?? I would want to be conscious of pink eye and bed begs—especially in a post covid world where we’ve become so aware of transmission of anything. Not sure what resources studios have for something like this— instructor just suggested I bring my own if that’s what I want. Not the only studio I’ve seen do this either. Again — fantastic session. But hesitant to return because of this.
