    I’m a total beginner to barre and returning to exercise after a long hiatus due to chronic illness. Becky was SO supportive and made everything easy to follow, checking in both before and after, actively providing alternative movements to adjust difficulty throughout the class. There was enough variety in the music to keep things balanced and interesting. Becky and every attendee I met was friendly, supportive, and encouraging in spirit. The studio itself is lovely, well appointed, and provided everything needed for class. Be sure not to forget to bring your own water bottle, as there is a filtered cooler. Park in the Whole Foods garage for best results (the Origins parking will ticket/tow!). Be aware of the timing for the Whole Foods garage too though, as they will ticket if you stay too long. Overall, 10/10 experience. Will be back even though/because it totally kicked my butt in the best way. Thanks Becky!

    I’ve been taking classes with Emily for several months and she is such a great instructor! When I first started pure barre she was super kind and really informative/helpful. She helped me figure out the best forms for working out in general and always helped correct my form during class which I always appreciate. She always emphasized that the workout/position will look different for everyone and that was really validating and helped me a lot when I used to compare myself to others in the class. The instructors here are great and I love going to pure barre cap hill :)

    Really relaxing, instructor was very kind and helpful. Small class size was great. If you are sensitive to dizziness though this type of class is not for you. The inversions did make me dizzy. Although you don’t ever have to do those, inversions were about half of the time using the aerial silks, so if you opted to not do those then you are better off just taking a regular yoga class.
