I would say this experience is a little confusing for your first time, I also arrived right when the class started, so I definitely recommend showing up 10 mins early, but attendees are also sweet and helpful. see all reviewsGreat class! The instructor was very attentive and provided helpful tips throughout the class so I could improve my form! I’d recommend adding a couple of modification ideas for exercises. For example, by the end of class, I think I did over 100 box jumps - that’s a lot for not having done box jumps in years and I was definitely feeling it in my legs/knees after lol.

see all reviewsI don’t think there’s a way for class passers to enter this gym in the morning since the front desk isn’t staffed before 9a, but I just waited outside in the cold until a nice member let me in. Then, I had no clue where to go. But I saw the instructor walk in (I saw his picture with name on the wall so knew it was him) and followed. The room for rise and grind is to the left. The gym is basic. The actual class was good. We did 4 x 10 of shoulder press & lateral raise, then 4x10 of RDL & rows, then squats & overhead triceps and core. I could have done a similar workout as open gym but really did appreciate the instructor’s personal attention and feedback. He called the group out a bit on the core section and made us repeat some reps - I love that kind of accountability and thought it pushed me harder, but I’ve read enough ClassPass reviews to know some people get really sensitive with that.

see all reviewsClass has only 3 students (myself included and all female) and Mehdi was professional and effectively correcting our forms. Class is focused on upper+lower body strength training and core training. Because of the small size of class it almost felt like a personal training. I’ve been to many strength training classes and Mehdi is the most serious about forms. If you mostly do workout at home or other classes barely care about your form, I would recommend this class because everything you’ve been doing may be in incorrect forms and hurting your muscles rather than building them. I would say the only downside is that this gym is really hard to find lol there is no visible store sign. If you are in front of the dance center just turn right and go to the side of the building and open the 2nd door.
