Voir tous les avisI really enjoyed KA’s Fundamentals of Yoga class. Although it is designed for beginners, I think it is beneficial for both intermediate and advanced students. KA teaches you how to engage the correct muscles, explains proper alignment, and helps you understand where you should feel each stretch. I also learnt more about basic poses like Cat and Cow and realised I had been doing some poses incorrectly. This level of guidance is something you don’t always get in faster-paced classes. He is also humorous and makes the class feel light-hearted and enjoyable. Will definitely return for KA’s class!

Also loved that there is a proper mix of both arm balancing poses and inversions (some other studios tend to only focus on inversions). even for an advanced practitioner, this class is still great for going back to basics and refining the techniques! 👍🏻

I appreciated that the teacher offered different levels of pose variations and emphasised focusing on how the poses feel from within rather than how they look. The teacher also held a great presence throughout the asana practice, which helped me stay very present and lose track of time. Personally, I would have liked a bit more balance between the energetic movement and the grounding aspects of the practice, especially more breathing and a longer shavasana at the end. Still, it was a good class overall and a great way to start the day feeling energised.

Susan was also very friendly and approachable, and her instructions were clear and easy to follow throughout the session. The space is beautiful and spacious, and I especially loved how thoughtfully and carefully the lighting was adjusted throughout the class — it really helped me drop deeply into shavasana and made the rest feel even more restorative. I wasn’t sure about just a 45-minute session, but it worked perfectly — long enough to feel properly rested and recharged, and still easy to get back into my day afterwards.
