SO welcoming. I felt no pressure and I’m a first time dancer for contemporary and our instructor was so fun and moved effortlessly. Definitely coming back with friends. Even when classes are small, it’s better because you get close coaching.

    Intro to Hip Hop

This class was outstanding! Edel is such a great teacher, she explained where each movement was meant to originate in our bodies and where feel the beat. Her energy was effervescent and contagious. A really great class for people trying to learn grooves and feel comfortable in their movement!

    Campbellocking Series

I've tried many dance locations, but this one stuck with me. All dance instructors are great dancers, but not all are great instructors. Harry is both. He doesn't teach choreography (which you'll eventually forget). He teaches you how to move with the music by following beats and rhythms — and some moves to keep in your back pocket. This is a great class for beginners.

    Yang to Yin/Deep Stretch

This class was an excellent mix of building heat, followed by deep stretches. The focus on breathing here was a good reminder to slow down. Carla did a great job of explaining all the different positions, including alternative options. The space smelt really good. I was very warm and welcoming, as was the proprietor of the Thousand Yoga Barre (whose name escapes me, apologies!). She also recommended to use Apple Maps over Google Maps when driving to the studio, because Google Maps will take you to the back of the building, but the entrance is actually on the north side of the building which Apple Maps will direct you to. Overall, a very positive experience and I will book again.

This class was an incredible experience. I felt so comfortable and safe to just be my quirky self in the space and it is all thanks to Greg! He truly knows how to make such a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere. The class was beginner, friendly, and even when our coordination was off, he was able to replace any pressure. He felt to be perfect with humor, charisma, and community. Thank you so much for providing me with an amazing start to my Saturday that truly just shaped how the rest of my day felt. I will 100% be back. I will bring all of my friends and most importantly just keep doing what you’re doing!! you are fantastic. Greg and this concept is so motivating inspiring and needed.
