I hope there could be an additional Women’s Self-Defense class offered each week, as two classes a week feels a little too limited. I would definitely love to have more opportunities to attend!

The sensei truly took his time explaining the basics and watching the watching the community was pure magic. I recommend more people trying this class!

I had no previous MMA experience at all, but the instructors including Hadis and Lina have always been motivating, attentive and corrected my posture when needed to make sure I know the techniques. I love the small class size, the practice with my partners, and the sense of community the studio has built. I always leave the class feeling energised and accomplished!

Though there were others there who had been doing it much longer, it still felt friendly and inviting for a beginner. Clear instruction, plenty of individualized attention, and lots of encouragement. The tip to bring a friend if you’re new is a good one if you’re someone who likes to feel extra comfortable, since there is some pairing up, but I imagine it would still be great if you couldn’t find someone. I’m so excited to come back!
