Voir tous les avisAttended the Muay Thai/Kickboxing-All Levels class with my husband and Mario was super patient and motivating throughout the class. We’re newbies at this so he put us aside to teach us the basics and it was super helpful - we really appreciated it! I do recommend bringing your own gloves and wraps, we travel often so we did use the gloves but it seems to be best to bring your own if you’re a germaphobe as they can be stinky lol I would definitely go again if I had the chance to. It was challenging (as someone who has no coordination) but fun! 😊

Voir tous les avisThe class kicked off with a 30-minute warm-up followed by an hour of paired punches, and the vibe was pretty unique compared to other Classpass classes I’ve tried. No signing in or waivers—just walk in and get started, seems like most people are their regular students and they are young, kind of feeling like I'm in a summer camp for boxing. As the only newbie, I struggled to understand what'scoming next during the warm-up. I had to ask the coach for guidance, and he simply told me to grab a rope. Most of the time, I found myself glancing at others to figure out what to do next. During the paired punches, it felt a bit awkward since I was the only woman in the class, so I ended up paired with a guy. Getting punched in the chest was unavoidable—not a huge deal but definitely a bit strange at first. I noticed they offer women-only sessions, but those aren't available on Classpass. That said, it was a solid workout: 90 minutes and I burned over 800 calories! I won't recommend to anyone new to boxing, but if you want to challenge yourself, may be good to try.

Voir tous les avisVery welcoming community! This was our first time trying capoeira and it was great! Despite the class being all levels, they were very welcoming to beginners and made sure that we were able to also enjoy the class. Capoeira is a beautiful martial art and I think this was a great introduction.
